Funeral Services for Mary Jewell Ramsey, 82, will be held  at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Greater Apostolic Church. Speaker will be her nephew, Rev. Zach Parker. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the church. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home-West Monroe.

Mary was the mother of a handsome and intelligent son, Grandma of an intelligent and educated grandson; also, the mother of a sweet daughter who passed away in 1981.  She was member of Souls Harbor United Pentecostal Church, a devout Christian and a powerful prayer warrior.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Aaron Lavon Ramsey; parents, Alvin Preston McManus and Vernie Spillers McManus; daughter, Heather Renee Ramsey; brothers, David Leo McManus, Rev. Jack Junior McManus and Rev. Doyle L. McManus.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Christian Pardue; grandson, Tanner Christian Pardue and fiancé Mary Burgess; former daughter-in-law, Jill Crawford; sisters, Emily Faye Fields, Kathryn Chambless, Debra Newman, Sue Causey, Kimberly Plunkett, Juanita Brown and Becky Tolar.
