Mary Ellen Duty Gilbert, 70, of Farmerville, LA; was born on July 13, 1951 in Monroe, LA., and passed away on August 19, 2021 at her residence with her family at her side in Farmerville, LA.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Gladys Duty, son, Todd Gilbert and sister, Nell Scalia .

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, of 53 years, William Gilbert of Farmerville, LA; sons, David Gilbert of Sterlington, LA; and Andy Gilbert of Farmerville, LA; daughter, Kristy Morgan (Brandon) of Bernice, LA; grandsons, Chandler Gilbert, Preston Morgan, Wyatt Gilbert, and Zackory Gilbert,  granddaughters, Addisyn Gilbert, Ainsleigh Gilbert, and Willow Gilbert.

Memorials can be made in Mary’s name to St. Jude’s Hospital.
