Mary was my neighbor across the street. I’m heart broken that I didn’t find out she had passed until today, I live in another state since 2003. I know Mary is in a much more beautiful place. She and I hit our friendship off the first time we met. I want people to know what a wonderful person she was. I really had a true friend and I miss her. She was living and compassionate. Rest In Peace my friend.

Mary was a beautiful mother to her family. I have a memory of her when next door neighbors dog Cloe did not like people but came right up to her. He loved her.

Mary has a long distance family who loves her dearly. She was wife to my grandfather, Pat Caldwell, and she made him very happy. When he moved home to Louisiana after spending decades away after WWII he found not only his family but Mary, a true companion and loyal friend. I'm sure she thought us all crazy when they could come out to California to visit us, or when we would stop in there in Louisiana, but the times we had together were precious -- true moments of love, friendship and always warm laughter and good feelings. I am especially grateful for how Mary was so very respectful and kind to my mother, who considered Mary a saint for the love and service she gave to her Dad. How I wish we could be there to pay our respects and to reach out and know a little better Mary's family. She had to be the ultimate Grandma. She was always showing pictures and talking of her children with great pride and love. She truly cherished you and we knew it. Mary's home was always welcoming and her heart so humble. She was, we know, a woman of great faith. Please know that we love her and that our hearts go out to you as you celebrate her considerable example and beautiful life. May you be blessed as you remember her and may she be welcomed by those who loved her. My grandfather is there as is my mother -- and I can feel how happy they are to see her, to be with her and to celebrate with her. Thank you for sharing your wonderful mother and grandmother with us!

I will miss this gracious lady more than words can express. She welcomed a young man into her family and treated me as one of her own. Jimmy and I had many wonderful years together and we held hands when we said goodbye to him. I know she is resting peacefully as she deserves it. I love you, Mary Bell. Always have. Always will
