Mary Ann NeasFuneral services for Mary Ann Neas, 72, of Ruston will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Burkhalter Chapel in Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastors Fred Wideman and Rolly Walker officiating the service. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.Mary Ann was a lifelong resident of Ruston and member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she enjoyed participating in the singles group. She was also involved almost daily with the Council on Aging and for many years participated in Home Demonstration Service winning dozens of blue ribbons. Mary Ann was employed as a florist by several local floral shops where her skills brought much happiness to her customers. Those who knew Mary Ann will always remember her for her loving friendships. Once you were her friend, you were always her friend. Mary Ann?s desire to give to others was the true strength of personality. She spent her life giving to her friends and family. Mary Ann never called attention to herself and never failed to ask about other people?s health, family members activities, and was genuinely concerned about others. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Neas and Mary Neas.She is survived by cousins Billy Jack Colvin of Monroe, LA; Maurice Brantley of Simsboro, LA; Stanley Winfree of Houston, TX; and Celia Boudreaux of Richardson, TX.Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until service time at Burkhalter Chapel in Trinity United Methodist Church on Tuesday, March 4, 2008.Online condolences may be sent to www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
