Funeral services for Marvin Sharp, 71, of West Monroe will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, March 15, 2020 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
Marvin was born October 15, 1948 in West Monroe and passed away March 12, 2020 in West Monroe. He worked in the oil field and loved a cold beer. Marvin will be remembered as a great friend. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Bay Sharp.
Marvin is survived by two sisters LaVerne Lasyone and Yvonne McWhorter and husband Mike.
Pallbearers will be Keith George, Gary Lasyone, Phillip Cox, Gregory Priscock, Aaron Sharp and Travis Inman.
