Mr. Marvin Fleming Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral services for Mr. Marvin Fleming, Sr. will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 8, 2006, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Scott Thompson and Dusty Pinkard officiating. Interment will be held at Start Cemetery, Start, LA, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Mr. Fleming was born in Richland Parish on November 15, 1940 and raised in Archibald, LA on May 26, 1962 he wed Mary Evelyn Belgard in Colfax, LA. They resided in Calhoun, LA from 1975 to 2002, where their 4 children were raised and educated. Mr. Fleming was employed at Evans Oil since 1975 to present. Marvin and Mary relocated to Oak Ridge, LA where they enjoyed fishing and the family visiting on the weekends. Mr. Fleming was preceded in death by his parents, David and Lou Emma Rushing Fleming, two brothers, W.L. ¨Bill Fleming, Emmitte Fleming, two sisters, Gladys Fleming Lewis and Velma Fleming. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Mary Evelyn Belgard Fleming, four children, Paula Rene Collinsworth and husband Tommy of West Monroe, LA, Rhonda Fay Shoemaker of Calhoun, LA, Marvin Morris Fleming II and wife Nora of West Monroe, LA and Emmitte Paul Fleming of Blanchard, LA. The grandchildren he was blessed with are; Michelle Leann Buchan, James Dustin Pinkard, Rachell Rene Bates, Michael Earl Shoemaker, Laura Aston, Charllotte Alline Shoemaker, Sarah Elizabeth Shoemaker, Natasha Nicole Shoemaker, Ben Aston, Cody Glen Fleming, Allen Coleman White, Jameson Paul Fleming, Samantha Michelle Fleming and Kaitlyn Fleming. Sisters are Doris Newton & husband Hobbie of Rayville, LA, Ruth Head of Morgan City, LA, Sue Gibson of Rayville, LA and Lorraine Sanders of Riverside, TX. Pallbearers are; Dennis Fleming, Perry Fleming, Roger Gibson, Mike Shoemaker, Michael Shoemaker, Tommy Collinsworth and Danny Gibson. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Mizell, Frank Grovingo, Steve Teel, Alvin Garvin, Eddie Knapp, Randal Gavin, Perry Hurbert, William Patrick ¨Bill Forbito, Bennie Evans Jr. and Ed Conners.
