Funeral services for Martha Tidwell, 71, of Downsville, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.  Rev. Richard Robinson will officiate.  Interment will follow at Wilhite Cemetery in Downsville, Louisiana under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in West Monroe.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Martha was born September 4, 1952, in Winnsboro, Louisiana and passed away May 6, 2024, in Monroe, Louisiana.  She retired from LA. Gas after many years of service.  Martha was a member of Wilhite Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Hughie and Inez Hodge.

Martha is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Ronnie Tidwell; brother-in-law, Glen Tidwell of Downsville; brother, Bobby Hodge and his wife Beverly of Gardner, Kansas; nephews, Hugh Hodge of West Monroe, Jeffrey Tidwell of Biloxi, Mississippi; niece, Rebecca Tidwell of Belize; special sister, Reba Oneil of Pollock; special friends, Sherry and Renee Battaglia of Downsville; and her special furries, Diamond, Gracie and Max; along with many other cherished family and friends.

The family would like to extend gratitude to Dr. Coy Gammage and staff; St. Francis nurses and doctors; and the staff at M.D. Anderson-Houston.
