Graveside services for Mrs. Marteal Allen Hart, 85, of Calhoun will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 31, 2010, in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe, LA. Chaplain Norris Curry will officiate. Mrs. Hart passed away Friday, July 30, at her home in Calhoun. She was a lifelong resident of West Monroe until moving to Calhoun in 1997. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Calhoun. Mrs. Hart was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Robert Lee Hart; her parents, B.W. and Katie Simons Allen; several brothers, James M., Huey, Henry, Chelsea, and Richard Allen; and two sisters, Mrs. Jo Thompson and Mrs. Mary Neal. Surviving Mrs. Hart are her two daughters, Kaye H. Hyde of Calhoun and Mae H. Hennigan and husband, Ryan of Calhoun; two grandchildren, Lee Hennigan and wife Tamara of Dallas, TX, Ashley H. Henry and husband, Harold, of West Monroe; three great grandchildren, Hannah Nicole Henry, Maggie Kate Hennigan, and Lauren Alexa Henry; three sisters, Katie Blakeney, Patricia Hare and Charlotte Weems, all of West Monroe and one brother, B.W. Allen, Jr. of Arizona; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. We would like to say a very special thank you to the Ruston Agape Hospice Team: Lisa, Teresa, Paula, and Angela, for taking such wonderful care of our Mother. To you, Dear Sweet Mom, goes the biggest thank you of all. Thank you for always being there for us with your words of encouragement and love. You were the best and you will be missed. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Alzheimer Foundation.
