Funeral services for Marion “Bunny” Hanks Liner Wallace, age 73, of Monroe, Louisiana, will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 8, 2011, in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Monroe. Officiating will be Rev. Will Sheffield. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Monroe. Bunny was born on July 17, 1937 and passed away on February 4. 2011. Bunny passed away after a long and hard fought battle with heart failure. She was very active with her church, First United Methodist Church. She was affiliated with many organizations such as the Eastern Star, Bridge Club and the Red Hat Ladies as well as many other philanthropic organizations. She was a servant at heart and spent many holidays serving meals to people in need, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Wallace and her parents A. D. and Marion Hanks. Survivors include her daughter, Laura Liner Centola and husband, Lyle; sons, Conway Liner and his wife, Leah, and Jeff Liner and Dayna Hudson; grandchildren, Jamie Liner, Jordan Centola, Melissa Centola; sister, Ann Hart and her husband, Dean; nephews, Dean Hart, Jr. and Cory Hart all of Monroe, LA. Pallbearers are Jamie Liner, Jordan Centola, Dean Hart, Jr., Cory Hart, Frazier Hudson and Trey Weaver. The family wishes to express a very special thanks to Dr. Mouhaffel for his compassion and constant care of their mother.
