Funeral services for Marie Pylant Bryan, 81, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Mark Fenn will be officiating. Interment to follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Bryan was born May 8, 1929 in West Monroe and passed away May 1, 2011 in West Monroe. She was a member of First Baptist Church West Monroe. She is survived by her sons; Russell Bryan and wife Leslie of West Monroe and Douglas Bryan and wife Linda of Pineville; grandsons, Andrew Bryan, Brandon Bryan and Dustin Bryan; sisters; Eloise Smith and Floye Eichler; brother; Raymond Pylant and wife Melba; numerous nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
