Funeral services for Marie Clark Bullock will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at First Baptist Church, Calhoun at 2:00 PM. Officiating will be Reverend Neil Everett. Interment will follow at Aulds Chapel Cemetery, Downsville under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Sunday, May 27 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Marie was born March 23, 1929 in Calhoun to Wesley James and Lois Fitzpatrick Clark. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Calhoun. She graduated from Ouachita Parish High School and then B. M. I. School of Business. She worked in Finance and owned Dependable Finance in Monroe. For the last twenty-five years she has worked at Wal-Mart, West Monroe and was affectionately known as “The Wal-Mart Lady,” greeting customers at the door. Her life was exemplified by longtime work and devotion to her family. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Bullock. She is survived by her daughters Kimberly Bullock Rooney, Kerri Bullock Miller, and Allison Marie DeStefano and her grandchildren Taylor, Zachary, Lydia, Lilly, and Kaydance and by her sister Edna Bairnsfather. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home or The American Heart Association would be appreciated.
