A Graveside Service for Marianne Parnell will be held Thursday, September 07,2023 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Choudrant, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes – Ruston.
Marianne Parnell passed away peacefully at her home on August 29, 2023, at the age of 74. She was called to be with the Lord and her beloved late husband Morris Ray (Doc) Parnell. Born in Newport, Rhode Island and lifelong resident of Algiers and Gretna. Loving mother of Bernadette and Paul (Jessica) Parnell. Cherished Mimi of Stella Faye and Amelia Ann Parnell. Also survived by Justin (Keri) and Ellie Klumpp and her constant companion Pixie along with countless friends and extended family members. For over 30 years, Marianne was a dedicated and loving employee and friend of Arden Cahill Academy. She most enjoyed spending time with her family, in particular her “honies” and lovely ladies of Pokeno.
Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home in Harvey; 2100 Westbank Expressway from 11am-1pm with service to follow on Tuesday, September 05, 2023. She will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, in Choudrant, Louisiana.
