Macelle Catherine Hunt Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA Graveside services for Ms. Macelle Hunt, 90, of Dubach, LA, will be held at Hamilton Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013. Officiating the service will be Bro. Todd Free under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Ms. Hunt was born on January 7, 1923, and passed away on September 12, 2013, in Ruston, LA, following a brief illness. Macelle was a member of First Baptist Church of Dubach and was a member of the Flora Colvin Sunday School class. After moving into the Russ House Assisted Living, Ms. Hunt continued to participate in Sunday School and Bible Study classes provided through Temple Baptist Church. Ms. Hunt was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hunt; and one daughter, Henrietta Hunt Till. Ms. Hunt is survived by her son-in-law, Bobby Till of Dubach; Grandson, Randy Till of Ruston; two granddaughters, Donna and husband David Hipp of Ruston, and Shea and husband, Tommy Boyt of Natchitoches; six great-grandchildren, Callie Hipp of Ruston, Katie and husband, Nick Rome of Nashville, Tennessee; Andrew Boyt of San Diego, CA, Emily, Jacob, and John Boyt of Natchitoches. Most recently, Macelle was proud to have become a Great-Great Grandmother with the birth of Gabriella Olivia Rome on June 25, 2013. Macelle is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
