Lydia “Libby” Guice Lewis was born September 29, 1950 and passed away October 11, 2020 in West Monroe at the age of 70. She was employed at the age of 18 by State Farm in the Catastrophic Loss Management Department for 40 years and continued working for the company until her retirement. She is preceded in death by her mother, Nell Jones Guice Broadway and father, W.E. Guice.
Libby was the beloved wife of 52 years of Gary Wayne Lewis and mother of Anthony Jason Lewis and fiancé Rachel Colvin. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Dency Blackmon and husband Dr. Larry E. Blackmon; nieces D’Anne Bennett, Amy Many, and Kinbur Thornburg, one great-niece, four great-nephews and numerous cousins.
The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
