Funeral services for Luther Randall “Randy” Yeager will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 15, 2024 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Brett Cloyd officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Methodist Cemetery, Eros, LA. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Luther Randall “Randy” Yeager walked through the gates of Heaven Saturday, February 10, 2024 following a prolonged illness.  Randy was born on February 8, 1952 and lived in West Monroe, Louisiana for 61 years then in Hallsville, Texas until his death. Randy’s arrival in Heaven surely was celebrated by his father, L. O. “Sam” Yeager, mother, Hilda Bunn Yeager, sister, LuAnne, and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Randy is survived by his sister, Laurie Yeager Clay, brother-in-law, Mike, nephew, Sam Clay, his wife, Alesha, and son, Lincoln, his stepmother, Mary Cloyd Yeager, and stepbrother, Brett Cloyd as well as uncles, aunts, numerous cousins and Clay in-laws.

He loved music, dancing and singing but most of all helping others.  The joy he brought to his Texas church family when he gleefully helped with offering was abundant and contagious.  Getting the mail was a highlight in his day especially when his name appeared on wonderful cards and letters from his many friends.  Randy was always curious and inquiring.  He spent hours with his sister relearning math, geography, history and biology but the one thing he studied the most was the weather.  He was always wanting to know what was happening with his family and friends were.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Research  Hospital and Gideon Bible Ministries.
