Lula Mae Hague nee‚ Patterson, Pat, as known by family and friends, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 95, in Boerne, Texas, on Sunday, November 18, 2018. Pat was the daughter of John Randolph Patterson and Josie Taylor, of Union Parish, Louisiana, the 7th of twelve children.Pat married on the 4th of February 1942, Joe C. Hague Sr., of Columbia, Louisiana, a Chief Master Sgt. In the USAF. They were married for 52 years and had two sons, Joe C. Hague Jr., and James Daniel Hague. They lived for over 25 years in Texas, the majority of that time in El Paso, Texas, where Pat was a Bookkeeper for General Electric. They retired to West Monroe, Louisiana in 1969.Pat was an active member of many genealogical and philanthropic organizations: Past State President of the Daughters’ of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames and United Daughters’ of the Confederacy in West Monroe and San Antonio, Texas. Pat was a member of the American Mother‚ Association, The Garden Club of West Monroe and a Board Member of Glenwood Regional Medical Center. Pat and Joe were very active and dedicated to the West Monroe Boy‚ Clubs of America.Pat is survived by two brothers, Mr. Tom Patterson and family of Germantown, TN. and Mr. Richard Patterson and family of West Monroe, LA and her son, James Hague and family of San Antonio and Lake Jackson, Texas. She had 5 grandchildren: Michelle Hague, Joe C. Hague III and Jonathan Hague, Philip Hague, Monica Hague. Great- grandchildren Dane Thompson and Shea Hague, and two sets of twin great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Layla Hague of Dallas, Texas and Isobel and James Alexander Hague of San Antonio, Texas.Funeral Services will be held, Monday, November 26, 2018 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Viewing will begin at the Funeral Home at 1:00, services at 2:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel led by Pastor Wolfe of Ridge Avenue Baptist Church where Pat was a member for over 30 years. Burial will follow at Halsey Cemetery on Arkansas Road, West Monroe where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
