Loyd Clinton Foote Jr. was born on July 1, 1943. He passed away on September 21, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Loyd Clinton Foote Sr. and Jewel Nelmarie Foote, and brother Donald Foote. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara, his daughter, Brenda Aiken and husband Raymond, sons Stacey Foote and wife Misty, Sherman Foote and fiancé Jennifer Miller. Clinton had 13 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, brother David Foote and wife Jeanie, Sisters Nancy Reppond and husband Benny, Cheryl Antley and husband Goree, Othia Remore and husband David, numerous nieces and nephews. Clinton was an all-around sportsman who loved to fish and garden with his wife Barbara. He was a fabricator welder by trade and was known for his creative mind and his unique ability to fabricate just about anything. He built many things for the City of West Monroe, such as the Antique Alley flowers, the Heron and bridge at Restoration Park, the horses at the Ike, and many more attractions at Kiroli and other parks. Clinton loved to watch things grow from his garden and shared much from his garden with the community and friends. Clinton loved spending time with family and friends on his houseboats and party barges that he built. Clinton loved the Lord and was faithful to His word and the Church. He worshiped with Rocky Branch Assembly of God, where he was always known for his smile and warm spirit.
There will be a celebration to honor the life of Clinton Foote on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at 2:30 pm at Rocky Branch Assembly of God, Rocky Branch, LA with Brother Louis Bartet, Brother Eugene Brown and Brother Justin Uselton.
