Funeral services for Lovie Gray will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 25, 2024 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe with Bro. Danny McIlveene officiating. Interment will follow at Lynn Cemetery Archibald, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until service time.

Lovie was born January 27, 1934 and passed away March 21, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband William Arthur Gray; parents Daisy McKenzie Young and William Bridges “Bill” Young; sister, Daisy Bennett and son-in-law Danny Walters. Lovie was a member of Community Baptist Church.

Lovie is survived by her children Cherry Morris and husband Randy, Debbie Walters, Lori Powell and friend Paul, Art Gray and wife Michelle, Lynn West and husband Mike; 3 grandchildren Chris Antley and wife Janna, Jenay Boyte and husband Duane, and Dana Spence and husband Colby; 7 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; sister Gerry Hall and husband Freddie, brother-in-law H.B. Bennett and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jordan Antley, Jacob Antley, Cameron Spence, Austin Spence, Hunter Canterberry, Micah Jones and Jax Antley.

A special thanks to Dr. Fakhre, nurses and aides at West Carroll Memorial Hospital and West Carroll Care Center.
