Jim, so sorry to read of your dad's death. He was most fortunate to live such a long and much loved life. Didn't realize I knew him except through you. But his obituary reminds me of working with him at Sears. Part-time students like myself appreciated the kindness and guidance that professionals like your dad gave us. Those were good times "back in the day" at Sears. My sincere condolences to you and your family. Bette (Holloway)

Praying for the family. I remember him when I was growing up. He was so nice and since he worked at Sears, I remember asking my mom if he could get me something, don’t remember what it was but she said no that he didn’t own Sears and she would still have to pay for it!! I was disappointed but I remember him being so nice when I was over playing with Rhonda! I know you will miss him but you will see him in Heaven! 🙏🏻❤️

Mrs. Auttonberry and family, we send our deepest sympathy in the homegoing of Bro. Louis. I have fond memories of you at Swartz Elementary and have visited with you through the Esteps at First Baptist, Swartz. My Dad pastored at Rowland Road Baptist Church in the 60's and 70's. What Bro. Louis for many years believed by faith, he now knows by sight! He arrived to his forever home and will forever celebrate the birth of our Saviour and worship Him as will we at this Christmas time of year. He will hear the herolding angels sing and join giving praise to Jesus. May our Lord wrap His loving arms around each of you in the days and weeks ahead to give you peace. The family of (the late) E. Lowe Stone (Beverly, Bobby and Nannette Stone, Fort Smith, AR)

I have a very strong and abiding love / respect for your dad. He was the greatest example of a godly man that I have ever known. I often wish I had known your mother and hope someday to meet her in heaven. Your dad was so kind in all of his actions no matter where he was: at work, on the lake, around his family, at church. In all places he was the same kind and gentle soul full of love. He always put others ahead of himself. I consider it a true honor to have known him and love him. I only hope that I can honor his name with the remaining life that I have left by following his example the way he did by following our lord and savior Jesus Christ. Thank you both for sharing your dad with me. Marty
