Funeral services for Loraine Otwell, 76, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Dr. Greg Clark will be officiating. Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Loraine was born May 11, 1936 in Calhoun, LA and passed away December 3, 2012 in West Monroe. Loraine was a member of Cedar Crest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Everett Otwell; parents John Walker Russell and Mattie Russell. Loraine is survived by her daughters, Sandy Welch and husband Robert, Tamra Keys and husband James; son, Lance Otwell and wife Tina; sisters, Elaine Ables and Gladys Spurlock; brother, Bobby Russell and wife Helen; sisters-in-law, Gloria Watson, Barbara Bell and Linda Otwell; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons: B.J. Welch, Lane Welch, Cody Keys, Gage Otwell, Garrett Otwell and Chad Perot. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00 pm until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
