Lora Victoria Wyatt (Vicky, Vick, Aunt Vick), was a strong and courageous woman with a soul for family, home, and church. She was a devoted wife to her husband Luchious for over 50 years and loved her two boys, L.E and Leo more than words can express. She deeply loved all her family members and they were never far from her mind, even though many were far away. She was born on her family farm on November 3, 1923, and lived within a mile of her home until she no longer could do so.Victoria loved the small pleasures of home life, especially animals and gardening. She kept chickens most of her life and raised a variety of farm animals with her husband, Luchious. She always fed stray dogs and cats until they were no longer strays but belonged to her! And, as long as she could care for one, she always kept a small house dog to love and care for. Her dog was a constant and loving companion. She also enjoyed Journaling even on the smallest scraps of paper and notebooks that she could find.Victoria was a long-time member of Cypress Baptist Church. She was deeply connected to the church community for her entire life and served faithfully as a Sunday school teacher and as the church treasurer for over 40 years. While she was able, she attended services and worshipped with her friends and family there. Additionally, she spent many hours of personal reflection, meditation and scripture study and had a deep and personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Victoria passed away peacefully on Friday, March 16, 2018.
