Eddie,Sherry,my wife and my son Matt Murphy left a message on March 22, 2018:
As boys, we (Bobby Jr., David, and James Robert Murphy) would walk up the muddy road to Uncle Luke's and Aunt Vick's house to visit them. Aunt Vick would always have snacks like pie, cookies and cake. She enjoyed sharing with us for us coming to visit. I will always remember Aunt Vick would tell us to "quiet down" because Uncle Luke was sleeping because he had worked the 11-7 shift at the paper mill. As the years went by, I ended up working with Uncle Luke on the No. 5 paper machine. Uncle Luke was a Machine Tender on the Paper Machine, which was an important job because he was the man that made the paper. We will all miss Aunt Vick because she was always a blessing to be around. She was a sweet lady that did a lot more than I knew about her. As I was a young lad, I didn't realize how much she was involved in her Church.May God give your family Comfort and Strength during this sad time. Written by Eddie Murphy 3-22-2018 Thursday
