Mr. Lonnie ¨Blackie Clifford Corbin Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral services for Mr. Lonnie ¨Blackie Clifford Corbin, 81, a resident of Columbia, La., will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 2, 2007, in the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Larry Russell and Rev. Lamar Poe officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Mr. Corbin was born February 14, 1926, in Kilbourne, La., and passed away July 29, 2007, in Columbia, La. Mr. Corbin was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator, a member of Sandy Bayou Baptist Church, he loved fishing and being outdoors. Mr. Corbin is preceded in death by his first wife, Verla Geneva Cutright Corbin, sons, Lonnie Clifford Corbin Jr., Michael Roy Corbin, his parents, six brothers and sisters. He is survived by his second wife, Bessie Corbin; children, Ken Corbin and Curtis Corbin; sisters, Doris Robinson and Omah Wheeler; brothers, Billy Ray Corbin and R.C. Corbin; step-children, Velma Fletcher, Barbara Poe and husband Sidney Lamar Poe and Cecilia Paul and husband Larry; eight grandchildren _______ great grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren and 7 step-great great grandchildren Pallbearers will be ______________, __________________, __________________ , ______________, __________, _________________, and _________________.
