Linda Morris left a message on January 5, 2007:
Aunt Loma was my Uncle Palmer Deans cousin. She was a dear friend to both of my Aunts Dessie and Marie and my mother Virgie Henry. I loved her sense of humor and can hear her laugh right now. She made the best cornbread dressing in that school cafeteria. I will always remember her. My thoughts and prayers to her survivors. Sincerely, Linda Morris

My prayers are with with you. God blessed you with her presence for a wonderfully long time! She will be missed by many. I only met Loma once, we talked for several hours. I do geneology research and, on the spur of the moment, stopped by her house one day. Her mother, Lillie, was a sister to my Daddy\'s mother, Mary Florence. The stories she told about my Daddy and my Grandmother were very interesting. I so much enjoyed talking with her! When I asked if she had a picture I could see of my grandmother, Mary Florence, she told me all the pictures her Mother had of her were destroyed in a fire. This made me very sad because I never knew my Grandmother - I have never even seen a picture of her. When traveling to Monroe via Farmerville, I will always think of Loma when I pass her house...my Daddy told me our kin lived there when I was a child. I remember Daddy talking about Aunt Lillie - he loved her very much. By the way...my name is Bettye Sue Stuart Kavanaugh nickname-Suzy. My Daddy, George Stuart, was the youngest of Mary Florence\'s children. My apologies for the lengthy condolence, I felt I needed to try to explain how I knew this precious lady. May God keep you in the shadow of His hand...surrounding you with His love and compassion.

She lived a wonderful life and always had a smile for everyone. She made those lunches taste better everyday at school. May God Bless all of you during this time and you are in our thoughts and prayers. Dale and Patty
