Funeral services for Lola Sikes will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 16, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 201 St. John Street, Monroe, LA. Pastor Peter Lu and Bro. Braxton Humphries will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time at the church under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Interment services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.Lola was born March 20, 1931 in Singapore and passed away December 12, 2019 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Monroe. Lola came to the United States as an American citizen over 30 years ago and made a life time of friends in Ouachita Parish while she was here. She made an impact on a lot of people and will be dearly missed. We are so thankful to have known Lola as a friend and Christian. Such a giving person & friend to everyone. We cherish many memories of good times together ~ laughter, tears, prayers, meals, travels, flowers. Lola had a servant heart. She said, "I am ready for the Lord to come and take me home." We will miss Lola so much, and look forward to meeting her again in heaven with the Lord.
