Graveside services for Lisa Emory, 50, of West Monroe will be held at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with long time friend Pastor Sandra LaCourse officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2:00 P.M. until 3:30 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Lisa was born on June 6, 1973 in West Monroe, Louisiana. She was baptized in the Welcome Home Church of God in Bawcomville on March 17, 1982. Lisa graduated from West Monroe High School in 1991. Her favorite flower was Magnolias. She was a very tender hearted woman who wouldn’t hesitate to take into her home any friend with or without children who needed a place to live. She also was a wonderful cook and took great pride in cooking for her family and friends at holidays or any other time she thought someone needed a home cooked meal. If there were any stray cats that came into Lisa’s house she made sure that they had plenty to eat and drink. She is preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Norma Emory, her brother Ken Emory, and her sister- in-law, Shari Emory and many family members and dear friends that she loved.

Lisa is survived by her brother Eddie and his ex-wife Melinda; nephew Kris Schroeder; nieces, Summer Sykes, Hannah Emory and her special friends Misti Westbrook, Trysha Hicks and Sherry Sykes.
