Linda Sue Nale ChamblessKilpatrick Funeral HomeWest Monroe, LAFuneral services for Mrs. Linda Sue Nale Chambless, age 62, will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 8, 2008, at Paron Baptist Church in Sterlington, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Kurt Auger and Rev. Terry Ganey. Interment will follow in Enterprise Cemetery, near Farmerville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.Mrs. Chambless was born on November 14, 1945, in Goose Creek, TX and went home to be with her Lord on February 5, 2008, in Monroe, LA.Mrs. Chambless was retired from Angus Chemical Company. She began playing piano at the young age of 12, and served as the church pianist for over 50 years. Her love of piano playing was only surpassed by her love of floral arranging for her family, friends and church.She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mariete Nale.Survivors are her husband of 25 years, Bobby R. Chambless; daughters, Lisa Wheeler and husband Joe, Jennifer Dunn and husband Steve; sons, Brad Roberson and wife Beth, Bob Chambless and wife Brandi, Todd Chambless and wife Becca; 9 grandchildren; sister, Janice Welch and husband Dale; numerous relatives, church family and friends. Pallbearers will be Todd Thompson, Chad Thompson, Tommy Phillips, John Sutton, James Wells and Gary Tubbs.Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, February 7, 2008, at Paron Baptist Church in Sterlington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Flower Fund or Music Department of Paron Baptist Church.

I was so shocked to hear of Mrs. Linda's passing.  Even though it's been a while since I've seen her, I will always remember what a caring person she was.  She played the piano so beautifully at church.  She was a wonderful mother and christian.  She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of being a part of hers.  My heart and prayers go out to her family.
