Funeral services for Linda Parks will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 18, 2023 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Rev. Eugene Brown and Pastor Justin Uselton will officiate. Interment will follow in Rocky Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.

Linda was born on February 12, 1943 in Winnsboro, Louisiana and she went to her Heavenly home on July 15, 2023. She was a member of Rocky Branch Assembly of God. Linda was also a member of Gideons International and the Union Parish Council on Aging Arts. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Parks; parents, Rhine and Nina Burns Viola; sister, Betty Brandao; and mother and father- in- law, Belva and Percy Parks.

Linda is survived by her husband of 45 years, Presley Parks; son, Paul Parks and wife Shontea;  grandchildren,  Josh Parks and wife Danyelle, Jordan Parks, Jacob Parks, Jonathon Parks, Jared Parks, Bryan Parks, Brittnie Parks, Gilron Parks, Adrienne Parks, Theron Parks, Kaine Parks, Kayden Parks, and Kellie Parks; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Rayford Viola; nephews, Pat Brandao and wife Shirley, Bret Viola; nieces, Sabrina Viola, Mary Guiterrez; and many other cherished family and friends.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Josh Parks, Jacob Parks, Jonathon Parks, Jared Parks, Kaine Parks and Kayden Parks. Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Parks and Pat Brandao.
