Sherwood Smith and Rev Elvin Wheelis officiating. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Wheelis was born July 23, 1942 in Jonesboro, LA and died March 16, 2007 at her residence. Survivors include her husband Dale Wheelis; daughter Rhonda Hendrix and husband Curt of Calhoun, LA; sons Bill Wheelis and wife Patti of Eros, LA, Waylon Wheelis and wife Kim of Farmerville, LA; grandchildren, Amber and Jake Hendrix, Anna and Orrin Wheelis, Tristin Wheelis, Caitlin and Chelsea Caskey, sisters Lola Smith and husband Sherwood of Chatham, LA, Jean Thorton and husband Danny of West Monroe, LA; brothers William Massey and wife Genell of Swartz, LA, Terry Massey and wife Thelma; brother and sister-in-law Rev. Elvin and Laverne Wheelis of Eros, LA, Deloy and Maxine Warren of Quitman, LA; sister-in-law Charlotte Robinson of Quitman, LA; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Mike Wheelis, Freddie Smith, Donnie Smith, Greg Massey, Allen Massey, Matthew Robinson, Randy Wheelis and Glen Tullos.
