Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Knight Jiles, 58, will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 24, 2006 in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Officiating will be Rev. Don Lanier. Interment will follow at Twin Cities Memorial Gardens in West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Mrs. Jiles was born on January 28, 1948 and passed away on June 21, 2006 at her home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents: Elsie and Arnold Wilks and one brother: William "Pee Wee" Knight. She is survived by her husband of twenty-one years: Daniel L. Jiles; daughters: Rhonda Heckford of West Monroe, Darla Baskin of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Barbara Masters of West Monroe; son: Clifford Howard of Monroe; step sons: Danny Jiles and Patrick Jiles both of West Monroe; step daughters: Angela Grisham and Pam Freeman both of West Monroe; brothers: Billy Knight of West Monroe, Roy L. Knight of West Monroe, Jerry Wilks of Ada, LA, Donnie Wilks of Gibsland, LA; sisters: Betty Jane Stanfield of Calhoun, Margaret Knight of Lufkin, TX, Bertha Glover of Justice, TX, Evelyn Moore of Gibsland, LA and dear friends: Linda Willis and Irene Shannon both of West Monroe; twenty-four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Special thanks to Patients Choice Hospice for the compassion and care shown to our mother. Pallbearers will be David Washington, Alfred Hunter, Tom Hilburn, Ray Knight, Danny Jiles and Patrick Jiles.
