Hill, 87, of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2008 at Liberty Baptist Church in Linville, LA. Officiating will be Dr. C.L. Foxworth. Interment will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hill was born on January 19, 1920 and passed away at her residence on January 1, 2008. She was a lifelong member of Liberty Baptist Church in Linville and loved her church family and was an avid gardener and extraordinary cook. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Lawson Hill, son John Larry Hill, grandson Michael Hill and four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her son, Billy Hill and wife Renate of Linville, LA; daughter Linda Hanson of Monroe, LA; daughter Carol Ann Nyegaard and husband Charles of Farmerville, LA; son Tommy Hill of Ruston, LA; Randy Hill of Ruston, LA; daughter Pamela Phillips of Farmerville, LA; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Kevin Hanson; Tom Holbrook; Brian Nyegaard; Steven Hill; Jesse Hill and Frank Boone.Honorary pallbearers will be nephews.Visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.Memorials may be made to Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in Linville, LA.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com
