Funeral services for Lillian Dena Malloy Johnson, Age 92 of Calhoun, Louisiana will be Friday, October 11, 2013 10am at First Baptist Church Calhoun. Rev. Neil Everett and Rev. Werner Aswell will be officiating. Music will be provided by Grace Calhoun. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mother was born November 19, 1920 in Wills Point, Texas and passed away peacefully at her home in Calhoun on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 surrounded by her children. We are eternally grateful to God for blessing us with such exceptional parents. They just wrapped us in love and caring all of our lives. Mother served her church and family faithfully. We honor our Mother for her meekness and undying devotion to her family and her God. Anyone who knew Mother was very aware of her deep commitments, her grace, and her tender but solid unwavering love.The family wishes to thank Charlotte McNeal and Hospice Family Alliance, Dr. Sunil Prim, and the staff at St. Francis Hospital. Dena is preceded in death by her faithful husband of 66 years, Leonard Lee Johnson and her son Freddie Lee Johnson. She is survived by her two sons, Leonard Lance Johnson and William Stephen Max Johnson and wife Carole. Her daughters, Mitzi Lanita George, Karen Elizabeth Townsend and husband Kenneth, Lillian Kathleen Johnson, and Marilyn Rose Stephenson and husband Rick. Mother had 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. We are sad to loose Mother and will forever feel her tender presence. We are comforted because our Mother is reunited with her soul-mate now eternally praising our Heavenly Father. We are anxious to be with them in heaven where our family will be complete in the Kingdom of Heaven. What a glorious reunion it will be. Pallbearers will be Rick Stephenson, Jay Wrinkle II, Keith Hickman, Michael McElroy, Mathew McElroy, and Scott Ferguson and honorary pallbearer will be Kenny Hickman. Visitation will be Thursday October 10, 5 pm to 8 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
