Lila K. Walsworth Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral services for Mrs. Lila K. Walsworth, 86, of West Monroe, LA will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel West Monroe with David Burkett and Don Delukie officiating. Interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Mrs. Walsworth was born March 18, 1921 in Monroe, LA and passed away September 19, 2007 in West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Walsworth was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Leo Walsworth. ¨Tootsie as she was fondly called, grew up the daughter of Marshall and Emily Kitchens, grocery store owners in Monroe. Upon graduation from Ouachita High School, she began working at Sears Roebuck on Desiard Street in downtown Monroe. After over 45 years, she retired as head auditor for Sears.Tootsie's life centered around two things: her family and church. She was a founding member of the Forsythe Church of Christ in Monroe. Mrs. Walsworth is survived by her three sons, David Walsworth and wife Susan, Mike Walsworth, and Doug Walsworth and wife Tracie all of West Monroe; six grandchildren, Tara Hill and husband Jonathan, Jamie Walsworth and wife Suzie, Emily, Lindsay, Jessica, and Hannah Walsworth, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Joe Cassidy, Mike Riley, Ronnie Teague, Richard Raymond, Troy Culp, Jim Howard, Jamie Walsworth, and Jonathan Hill. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Hebert and Van Breedlove. The family would like to thank Dr. Ewing, Nita Brown and the rest of his staff, as well as Dr. Causey and his staff. Also thanks to United Health Care for their last 18 months of care. Our special thanks are extended to Dorothy Myers, Betty Yarbough, Ethel Craft, and Linda Coates for their special care and love for ¨Miss Lila. Visitation will be Saturday, September 22, 2007 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home. In luie of flowers contributions may be sent to Sunnybrooke Children's Home in Ridgeland, Mississippi.

I just wanted to let you know that I am so sorry to hear of your dear, sweet mother's passing. She was always so kind and interested in others, as well as a wonderful example of a devoted Christian. I am also sorry to say that our family will all be out of town this weekend and not able to attend the funeral services.
