L. G. Watson Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA Another one of America's greatest generation has passed beyond this veil to the next. He is in his uniform once again serving with all those friends, family and fellow soldiers' that went before him. Obviously, he is helping to make the way for us in the future. He was a fine Soldier, family man, and an honorable citizen who will be missed more than he ever knew. Linney G. Watson was born in Deep Gap, NC on September 26th 1918 and passed from this life in Fort Smith, AR on December 21, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wives: Ruth Hood and Ruby Watson; and son: Danny L. Watson. LG is survived by his brother: David Watson Angie of North Carolina; grandchildren: Wendy Johnson of Monroe, LA and Daniel Watson Jamie of Lamar, SC, David Watson Cindy of Roland Tx, Todd Watson of Monroe, LA and Derek Watson Kim of Stillwater, OK: great grandchildren: Dan, Courtney, Taylor, Meagan, Jessica, Melissa, Victoria, Catherine, Tyler and Taylor; great great grandchild: Rylee. The family will visit with friends from 1-2 PM on Friday, December 27th, 2013 and the funeral service will be held at 2 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home 209 North Bonner Street, Ruston, LA.
