Chief Kennimer was a Plankowner on the USS Charles F. Adams in 1960 and made Chief GMC while onboard. I knew him briefly and thought he was a fair and great person who I served with for about two years. My condolences to the family and from the Crew of the USS Charles F. Adams DDG-2 we express our sympathies. May he have Fair Winds and Following Seas through glory.

I remember as a kid me and Leland hunted and fished the woods around Choudrant. That was so many years ago but i remember it like it was yesterday. He will be missed by many people. Me and all my family send our condolenses to the family. Jeff Welch
