Mrs. Lavone "Midge" Haney Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral services for Mrs. Lavone Midge Haney, 62, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Rev. James Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Colvin Memorial Cemetery, Unionville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Haney was born August 20, 1944 in Dubach, LA and passed away October 19, 2006 in West Monroe, LA. After a very lengthy illness, Lavone has gone home to be with the Lord, on October 19, 2006. She was always known to take a child under her wing, letting them know that she loved and cared for them and that they always meant so much to her. She was well known for being the manager of Eastgate Cinema Movie Theatre for 35 years. She nurtured and helped many of the teenage girls and boys that worked under her. She was well respected for all that she did. After the closing of the theatre, she became involved in crafts, sewing, and making porcelain dolls and angels, she always put so much time, love and care into each and everyone of them. And it always meant so much to her when she met new friends at every show she went to. She will be sorely missed but remembered also. Mrs. Haney is preceded in death by her parents, Mabel and Louie Buddy Larance and her brother, Rusty Larance. Mrs. Haney is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Myers; her mother-in-law, Sybil Haney; sister, Janet Skipper and husband Buck; niece, Sissy Gonzales and family; nephew, Junior Skipper and family; nephew Randy Haney and family; niece, Michelle Haney and family; numerous nieces and nephews; her best friend, Mitzi and her granddaughter Bethany; close family friend, Anna Marie Kelly and children. Pallbearers will be Randy Haney, Jason Haney, Brock Haney, D J Duncan, Lynn Bass and Robert Davis. Visitation will be Sunday, October 22, 2006 from 1PM until service time at the funeral home. ¨We all love you and miss you.
