Interment will follow at Pines Memorial Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home.Laura was born November 17, 1978 and passed away December 1, 2007, following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.Laura was a wonderful, vibrant personality who enjoyed life, friends and family. As a student at Cedar Creek School in Ruston she was active in the Emerald Entertainers and other school activities. As a five-year old she starred as Tiny Tim in the Louisiana Tech University production of ?Scrooge.? She and her family were also involved in other musical productions. She was involved in the youth group and choral activities of Temple Baptist Church. While at Louisiana Tech University she was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority and enjoyed working in the gift shop at the Tech Bookstore. She graduated with a B.S. in Marketing from the College of Business at Louisiana Tech University 2000.After graduation she worked for Regions Bank in Shreveport and then moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She was employed there with First National Bank and was presently employed with Mountain Resorts of Steamboat Springs, CO as an account manager. Laura loved the mountains and was an inspiration to those surrounding her.Laura was the peace maker and always an integral part of her immediate family. She loved her family and was looking forward to her life with her fianc© Mike Sprinkling. Her dream was to be married and to care for her family. Alex her white little poodle will miss her loving touch as all of her family who at this time find it so hard to even begin to think of life without her sweet smile and loving hugs.A memorial service is being planned in Steamboat Springs, CO for Laura at a later date.Laura was a wonderful person and will be missed forever by her dad, brothers and sister and all of her extended family and friendsShe is preceded in death by grandparents: J.W. Jarrell, Maxine Jarrell Holloway, Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Teague; and mother: Sharon Teague Jarrell.Laura is survived by her father: Larry H. Jarrell; siblings: Brian K. Jarrell and wife Kirsten, Katie Jarrell Kilgore, and Jonathan Jarrell; fianc©: Mike Sprinkling; grandmother: Evelyn Teague; grandfather: L.D.
