A Private Graveside Service for Larry Davis Baker, age 85, of Ruston, will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Douglas Cemetery, Choudrant, LA and officiated by Rev. Jeremy Jones, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Visitation will follow the service, from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. at Douglas Church.
Larry was a member of the Douglas Church, in Choudrant, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Davis and Kathleen Baker, and his brother-in-law, Bo McGuire.
He is survived by his wife of 63+ years, Mary P. Baker; his daughters, Donna Aaron (Randy), Debbie Simmons (Scott); grandchildren, Paden (Erin), Jacob (Caty), Shelley (Mark), Alyssa (Jamey), Emmy (Fiancé, Jake), and Kenzie; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Jerry Baker (Frances), Dianne McGuire, and Steve Baker (Judy).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Larry’s honor to Douglas Church, Douglas Cemetery Association, or the Amy McGuire Scholarship Fund at Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home.
