Larnell Fuller was born on May 4, 1937 in Dubach, LA and passed away on September 7, 2021 in Ruston, LA. She loved to sing and went with friends to local nursing homes to sing and minister to them in song and word. She was also a member of the Louisiana Women’s Choir and traveled around the state singing God’s praises. Larnell was very giving and would go out of her way to show her love and support for her family and friends. She had retired from the Social Security Administration with over 30 years of service and was a long time member at Cook Baptist Church. She loved the Lord with all her heart and wanted nothing more than her family and friends to love him as well.
Larnell is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles M. Fuller; daughter, Peggy L. Newcomb and her husband, Jay and their children, Casey Newcomb and his wife, Brittney, Natalie Cannon and her husband, John; Abby Newcomb; son, Kenneth Fuller and his wife, Jennifer and their children, Graham Fuller and his wife, Morgan; Lauren Blackwell and her husband, Logan; Anna Barbiero and her husband, A.J., Brian Miller and his wife, Meagan, Hilliary Miller and her fiancé, Ryan McGrew, and Katie Miller; siblings, Robert E. Napper and Laverne Rogers; sister-in-law, JoAnn Holtzclaw; sixteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express a special thank to Amy Pace, a loving and long-time caregiver. Also, thanks to caregivers, Anitra Owens, Amber Lebrun, and Juanita Brown. Appreciation is sent to Kim Roberson, nurse, and staff of Premier Hospice. The family would also like to give a loving thank you to neighbors and dear friends, Mark and Jean Ann Price.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of your choice.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. There will be a private family graveside service at Kilpatrick’s Memorial Gardens in Ruston.
