Funeral services for Laddie Woods,78, will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, June 27, 2021 at North Monroe Baptist Church in Monroe, LA.  Rev. Warren Eckhart will officiate.  Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at North Monroe Baptist Church.

Laddie was born on March 17, 1943 in Texarkana, Texas and passed away June 24, 2021 in Monroe, Louisiana. He was the president and CEO of Allied Building Stores for over 30 years. Laddie is preceded in death by his parents, Claude Lee Woods and Faye Merle Carpenter Woods; brothers, Jerry Lynn Woods and Emmette Wesley Woods.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Lee Woods and wife Kristen Mancil Woods of Monroe, LA; daughter, Melissa Lynn Hinman and husband Paul Eugene Hinman, Jr. of Waxahachie, TX; grandson, Kameron Lee Woods; brother, James Clay Woods; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends, Jerry Templeton, Curtis Allen, Mike Newsom, Johnny Ainsworth and Charles Hodgkins, Steve Hutchinson, Harold Dickens, Roger Johnston and many more.

Laddie loved being Kameron’s “Pow Pow”,  playing golf, cooking, spending time with and entertaining his family and friends. While we will miss our beloved Dad, we are comforted by the fact that he is at peace and resting at Jesus’ feet.

Pallbearers will be Paul Hinman, Mike Newsom, Charles Hodgkins, Dale Mercer, Kevin Cockrell and Tommy Lindsey.  Honorary Pallbearers are Steve Hutchinson and Harold Dickens.

Memorials may be made in Laddie’s name to the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum.
