A family and friend memorial gathering for Kristy Ann Phillips will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Kristy Ann Phillips was born October 12, 1980 and passed away October 19, 2023.
Kristy loved taking care of people no matter the situation. Kristy was the most loving, caring, and most compassionate person. She loved going to thrift stores and garage sales. Kristy would give anyone the shirt off her back. She always tried to look at situations in other peoples point of view. She always made sure her kids were respectful to everyone.
Kristy was an amazing daughter, sister, friend, and most importantly a mother to her 2 sons. She was always lending a helping hand to others and taking care of others before herself. Even though she wasn’t the most godly driven woman she was a strong spirited woman who at any chance she had to go to church she would go and it never seemed to fail that during the service she would pray and cry and say how she can feel the spirits guiding her and healing her soul.
Kristy was the Light of her mother’s life. She was her only child which meant that all her motherly love only had one place to go. Later Kristy was blessed with step-sisters and it brought joy to her life. Because she was no longer an only child and she became “Aunt Kristy”. Kristy cared more for others than for herself. She was loved unconditionally and will remain in our hearts forever.
Kristy was preceded in death by her father Mun Van Tran; grandparents Robin H. Malone, Jr. and Rosie LeVasseur.
Kristy is survived by her parents Tracy and Sherrie Watson; sons Tyler Phillips and Landon Phillips and fiancé Alaina Norris; grandmother Patricia Malone and grandfather George LeVasseur, Sr.; sisters Kelli Davis, Amanda and husband Bryan Stewart, Mary Ann Watson, McCurdy Ashley Watson; numerous nieces and nephews.
