Funeral services for Kenneth Dickerson, 69, of Eros, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 16, 2021 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Jason Beard officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery, Eros, LA. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Kenneth was born December 3, 1951 in Monroe, LA and passed away August 9, 2021 in Monroe, LA. He was employed by Graphic Packaging for 34 years. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Clayton and Mildred Dickerson and a brother Malcolm Dickerson.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Ellie Sechler Dickerson; daughters, Kelli Todd, Kristi O’Dell and husband Brian; son, Scott Dickerson and wife Stacy; step-sons, Chuck Gaston, Jr. and wife Carla, Doyle Gaston and wife Valerie; sister-in-law, Debbie Dickerson; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; nephew Trey Sechler and wife Misty, their children Liam, Derek, Hannah, Kaylee and Mila.

Man, man, man, this is tough. Thought the world of Mr Kenneth. I will always remember the goose hunting trip he, my dad and myself took to Canada. Unbelievable fun and fellowship. So many good memories and stories growing up hunting in Wham Brake. The memory I will carry with me is Mr Kenneth and Mrs Ellie coming to see my dad right before he passed. Mr Kenneth held my hand and put his other hand on my daddy and prayed the sweetest prayer. I’ll never forget that. Mrs Ellie, I’m sorry for your loss, but I want to thank you for allowing him touch my life and so many more. What a good man! Mrs Ellie, I am at work and can’t get home until the 17th, so I want to apologize that I cannot be there.
