Kenneth “Kenny” Boyd Jones was born August 29, 1956 in Towns, GA and passed away October 22, 2023 in West Monroe, LA.

Kenny was owner and operator of a lawn maintenance and irrigation system. The greatest loves in his life were his wife, children and grandchildren. Everything he did, he did for them. His family was everything to him, all of them. He was a very hard working man. He always took good care of his customers. They were also very important to him. He was the best friend you could ever have. He never thought of himself, only others. He will be so missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father William Boyd Jones; mother Hazel Hardin Deal; brother James Lee Jones.

Kenny is survived by his wife Angela Henderson Jones; children Derek Kenneth Jones and wife Bianca Contarini Chinelli; Austin Raymond Jones and wife Robyn Brookerd Mixon, Joseph Lee Davis and Angel Marie Davis; 6 grandchildren Aubrey Ann Mixon, Carson Wade Mixon, Brooklyn Rose Mixon, Nolan Chimelli Mixon, Cameron Joseph Davis and Mason Silas Davis; brother William “Pee Wee” Jones; sisters Sonya Jones and Robin Moore.

Such a shock to know you are gone. Prayers for all the family.

I just shocked to hear Ken is not among us anymore. Ken worked with me at Sammy's Plant World He was very professional what he was doing .He was very patient with excellent social skill .He tried high satisfaction for clients. After he starts his own business we were in touch and as much he could help me. I want to express my deep confidence his family .

I have so many wonderful memories of my brother Kenny. I honestly don't know where to start. But I remember when i visited him in Florida the first time I worked with him all summer long in his lawn care business pulling weeds that's all I did. And at the end of that summer he surprised me with a trip to Sea world. The second summer he surprised me with a trip to St. Augustine FL. He truly will be missed. I love you my sweet big brother Kenny.
