Keith Yeager Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral services for Mr. Keith Yeager, 83, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 17, 2006 at Fair Park Baptist Church, West Monroe, LA. Rev. Waymond Warren and Rev. Calton Yeager will be officiating. Interment will follow at Twin Cities Memorial Gardens, West Monroe, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Mr. Yeager was born December 29, 1922 in Eros, LA and passed away June 14, 2006 in West Monroe, LA. Mr. Yeager was an ordained deacon and member of Fair Park Baptist Church. He graduated from Louisiana Business College and went on to own and operate Central Commercial Cleaning and Building Maintenance for more than 30 years. Mr. Yeager served as past president of the West Monroe Lions Club and remained a member until the club retired the charter in 2006. Mr. Yeager was a Mason for over 50 years and he served as Past Master of Eros Masonic Lodge #295. Keith served as Past Master of the Third Masonic District Lodge, Past District Deputy Grand master, member of the Consistory, Scottish Rite of Monroe and former member of the Barak Shrine Club. He served on the Board of Directors for the Boys Club of West Monroe. During World War II he served as a signalman in the Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen, a son Lamar, three brothers and four sisters. Mr. Yeager will be remembered as a caregiver, giving generously to parents, siblings, children and grandchildren. Mr. Yeager is survived by his son, Dwayne Yeager and wife Beth; grandsons, Christopher, Adam and Ryan Yeager; daughter-in-law, Janet Yeager; granddaughters, Ashley and Jennifer Yeager; brothers, Calton and wife Martha, Sam Yeager and wife Hilda; numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the workers and residents of The Arbor and Terrace of West Monroe for their kind gentle care, friendship and companionship in the later days of his life. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, June 16, 2006 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
