Dad it’s been over a year since you passed away, it hasn’t gotten much easier to comprehend. I still miss you everyday and so does Jackson. He reminds me of myself so much and I try to treat him like you treated me. I wish I could be even half the dad you were. I miss you dad. Love your number one puppy dog.

I was very sorry to hear of Keats' passing. I have had little contact with him since he left Monroe, but while he was here I enjoyed conversations with him whenever I saw him. I preach for a church he attended as a young person, and some of the friends he had then are still here. Keats always had a smile, a friendly demeanor, and was someone I enjoyed being around. I'm sorry I didn't keep up with him after he moved away. Blessings and comfort to the family at this time.
Chuck Hughes left a message on March 20, 2022:
Keats was a helper. His sociable, intelligent personality brought him in contact with many people, and if any were suffering with pain or problems, Keats listened.

Keats was a fabulous person. So sad to hear of his passing. I was always impressed with him even as a child. He always seemed meant for greatness so unassuming, very quiet, but quite intelligent. Like he just knew where he was as going in life. So sad to read he left way too young. Prayers for his family.

I just returned from PA to hear of this Keats. You welcomed me with kindness when I moved here in 2010. What struck me was your disarming effect you had on friends who were perhaps in some heated discussion. But you did it with a love and finesse that I could only dream to have. Thanks for all our talks over the years, and this isn’t goodbye. I will see you again, but hopefully now for a while my brother. I’m sure you’re telling me right now I have no say over when that time will come. You made a difference in my life, and without any doubt, many others. God bless you “old man” . (Keats knows what I mean. Ask him yourself)

To the family: my sincere condolences on your loss. I got to know Keats a few years ago. He was such a nice guy. You could tell right away he had such a kind spirit and a very selfless guy who loved his family. I hadn't seen him recently but very saddened to hear of his passing. He was a great father and grandfather. He was kind, joyous, and smart, and his family will miss him terribly. He was taken from this world too soon; I wish so much that his family would have had more days with him. But he lives on, every day, through the actions of his own children. He taught them how to be. How to be kind husbands, supportive fathers. He was so proud of them. He will be missed terribly. My condolences.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
