Katie Ruby Pruitt, 90, was born in Spearsville, La. November 15, 1929 and passed away September 9, 2020 in Henderson, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, La. with Rev. Hank Hamilton officiating. A Visitation will be held prior to services from Noon till service time. Graveside services will be held at the Downsville Cemetery in Downsville, La.
Mrs. Pruitt was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Gordon and Audrey Rebecca Ruby, husband, Chester Pruitt, sister, Doris Ruby Nance, brothers, Bill Ruby, Raymond Ruby, Robert Ruby, brother-in-laws, Bill Nance, Jack Hamilton, and Ashley Ames, sister-in-law, Larue Ruby and niece Sherry Hamilton Boyd.
She is survived by a son, Patrick Pruitt and his wife Annette of Greenwood, La. , daughter, Bonnie Pruitt Riggs and husband Jerry, of Tyler, Texas, 3 sisters, Juanita Ruby Ames, Ann Ruby Hamilton and Alice Ruby Milford, four grandchildren, Jody Woodward, John Pruitt, Jennifer Searcy and Austin Riggs, four great-grandchildren, Landry Pruitt, John Thomas Woodard, Zoie Searcy and Liam Searcy and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
