Funeral services for Kathy Henson will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Lapine Assembly of God with Rev. Gene Benson and Rev. Joel Brackett officiating. Interment will follow at Lapine Assembly of God Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the church. Under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Kathy was born December 23, 1961 in Monroe, LA and passed away August 28, 2023 in West Monroe. She was a loving person and will be remembered as having an unbelievable memory and her favorite pastime was solving word puzzles. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; Glenn and Margie Henson and a niece Madison Henson.

Kathy is survived by her 2 brothers; George Henson and wife Cheryl and Tim Henson and wife Lorie; several nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles Ruth Dowdy and husband Wayne, Martha Smith, Jimmie Bailey, Daniel Bailey and wife Sue and Dean Bailey and wife Shelley and a host of cousins.

George and Tim would like to thank Aunt Ruth and Martha for their care of Kathy.

So sorry for your loss. Kathy was placed to room with my Mother at Landmark & I was there daily, several times a day.So I had the pleasure ofgetting to know Kathy. She spoke of her brothers often & She laughed about riding the motorcycle & other fond memories with family. She was a big Saints fan & loved Drew Brees. So for birthday & special occasions I bought her Saints items and colored pens because she enjoyed doing word puzzles &writing. She had beautiful handwriting. She loved balloons & kept them until they were completely flat. I was blessed by her excitement & laugh. My Mom passed in june 2023. I had planned on visiting Kathy but have been grieving hard & haven't been strong enough to go in the facility again yet. I'm so sorry that kathy passed before I got to go see her. If you ever want to talk, I am on Facebook & I live in West Monroe. My sincere condolences.
