Kathryn D. Henderson, 62 of West Monroe, passed away February 13, 2021. She will have a graveside service at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 26, 2021 at Bayou Macon Cemetery, Pioneer, Louisiana. Chaplain Ron Lowe will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe.

Kathryn loved the Lord, family and friends. She never met a stranger and could light up a room with her smile. Kathryn was a hard worker, full of joy. She adored her children with all she was. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Sue Evans and husband James Evans; step- father, Dallas Z. Henderson; Sisters, Ann Blake, Sheila Weinwright, Beverly L. Lee, brothers, Dallas Dell Henderson, Dallas J. Henderson, Eugene “Bo” Evans.

Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Pamela S. Metcalf; son, James “Harry” Atkinson and wife Karen; ex husband and closest friend, Steve Metcalf; brother, Marshall Evans and wife Donna; Sisters, Sharon S. Ward, Pamela J. Miller (Bob), Vickie G. East, Theresa D. Nelson (David), Eva M. Hoekstra (Tom), Victoria “Charlene” TeGrootenhuis (Mark), Audra M. Bell (Matt), Kat Hudson, Doris Loftin (Mike), Linda Barton; grandchildren, Jeremia Brown, Joseph Brown, Jarrett Brown, Laura Atkinson, Memphis Hensel, Kala Hall, John Ledford, Brittney Heisler, Jacob Owens; many nieces, nephews and other cherished family and friends.
