Funeral services for Kathleen ØÇø_BeanieØÇø_ Terrell Dew, age 68, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 24, 2011, at Faith United Methodist Church, 3510 Arkansas Road, in West Monroe. Officiating will be Rev. Jimmy Pyles. Eulogy will be delivered by Johnny Williams. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of West Monroe. Beanie, as she was affectionately known, was born on October 26, 1942, and passed away surrounded by family and friends on June 21, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randall ØÇø_RandyØÇø_ J. Dew; brother, Joe Terrell and her parents, Jessie and Dunc Terrell. Survivors are her nieces, Ashley Terrell and Bruce Saintsing of Lafayette, LA and Lindsey Long and her husband, Trey of West Monroe, LA; nephews, Ben Terrell and his wife, Wendy of Columbia, MO, Lance Hendricks and his wife, Paige of West Monroe, LA; sisters-in-law, Kathryn Terrell of Lafayette, LA and Cindy Williams and her husband, Johnny of West Monroe, LA; brotherØÇø_in-law, Scott Dew and his wife, Kim of West Monroe, LA; great nephews, Oliver Saintsing, Major Hendricks, Drew Long and Davis Long; and great nieces, Kaki Terrell and Mattie Terrell; special-in-laws, Jane Sloan, Nancy Sloan and Jeanne Seidenspinner. Beanie was a Charter member of the Faith United Methodist Church of West Monroe. She was a devoted adult Sunday school teacher of the Cornerstone Class, which began in 1987, and only recently stopped teaching class due to her illness. Beanie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her wit and knowledge was only surpassed by her Christian spirit. Her infectious laugh made everyone who met her feel welcome. Beanie will be remembered for her love of life but more importantly, her love of people. Pallbearers will be Ben Terrell, Bobby Baker, Lance Hendricks, Larry Furlow, Paul Laird, Don Wheelis, Trey Long and Larry Blackmon. Visitation will be Thursday, June 23, 2011, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of West Monroe.
