A Memorial Service for Karen Williams, age 46, of Quitman, LA will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Sweetwater Baptist Church in Quitman, LA and later in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

Karen was born in Minot, ND at Grand Forks Air Force Base on April 15, 1977 and departed this world on December 2, 2023 in Ruston, LA surrounded by her family.   She lived in Phoenix, AZ for 5 years, then to Fernandina Beach, FL, where she graduated from high school in 1995.  In 2001, Karen moved to Jonesboro, LA where she met her husband, Terry.  They had two beautiful daughters, Kaitlyn and Taylor, who she loved and adored greatly.

Karen was the most loving, sweet, kind, and generous person to everyone she met. She loved working at House of Raeford in Arcadia, LA where they became like a second family to her. Karen also loved going to the beach, riding motorcycles with Terry, traveling, camping, and having fun with friends and family.

She is survived by her husband Terry Williams and daughters, Kaitlyn and Taylor all of Quitman, LA; parents, Lyle and Sheree Southwick; sister Krista (Joe) Athan; grandmother, Carolyn Picard all of Fernandina Beach, FL; mother-in-law, Ann Brown; brother’s-in-law, Jeff (Dana) Kelly and Todd (Renee) Kelly all of Jackson Parish; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
