Karen Nadine Barkwell followed the path to heaven on February 13, 2015, at the age of 70 years young. She followed the path of her mother, Harriett Plohar; her father Wilbur Hugli; her sister Ramona Hugli; her first husband and the father of her children Robert Mracek, and her second husband and the love of her life Wayne Bennett.She is survived by her husband Ivy Barkwell, her brothers Wilbur (Jackie) Hugli and Dennis (Carol) Hugli.She started all of the craziness and is also survived by her trio of daughters Tina Kowalski, Cheryl Mracek, and Teresa Mracek.Better known as Grams, Grammy, Grammy Lou, or GranMa, she went on to become the ringleader of 12 grandchildren and their spouses: Tyasha (Sweet One); Robert (Baby Bobby) and Maria; Randy and Grace; Russell (Monkey) and Kathrine; Tyara and Marcus; Ryan and Allison; Ryndale (Giant); James and Ariel; Chris and Sammie; Kelsey (Sweetie Lou) and Joey (JoeyBoo); Cassidy (Sunshine); and Jasmine.Her special branch of the family tree continued to flourish into 12.5 great grandchildren: Ausstin, Jonathan, JoseDaniel, DJanell, Sabrina, Russell II, M.J., SamSam, Sky, Cooper (Treasure), Jerry, Larry, and .5 (to be determined).She is also survived and loved by many nieces and nephews as well as a myriad of other loved ones that she adopted as her own. Because of her heart of gold she had many friends and coworkers that she considered family from Wal-Mart where she worked for over 20 years before retiring in 2014.The light she carried inside of her will never diminish but instead it will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who love her dearly and will miss her every single day.
